@sddigitalimagery you're right, i don't have much experience in video making but neither do you. making a video in your garage using cheap props is low class compared to actually "creating" something. you have no idea how long it takes to program texture alone, not including voice sync, graphic design and BGM. Now I'm not saying your video was bad, but it is far from any kind of 1st place award. I would say about 4-5th place

@dragonace1992 Richard's video is great, no doubt. But to say that creating a video in Galaxy Editor is making a video from scratch, adding figures and sound effects...and making a live action scene is not, then that says to me you've never made a film before. I'm not saying mine is better, but we're definitely not the same. btw, all those corny lines are also in the game :) people tend to forget that. I agree the costumes were lame, but hey, I couldnt afford $2,000 suits, can you?

this is the grand winner? i'm sorry but i saw a 2nd place runner up they focused on cinematics and THAT was a winner to me. Constructing a video from scrach and entering in all the figures and sounds effects to give it a good feel is tougher then sticking some chubby as bastards in a metal box with some plastic guns and corny one liners.....don't know who judged this sad video, but they must have been seriously F***ed in the head...

Another line from Aliens I did not use (that are in the game) are "how do I get out of this chicken sh*t Outfit?". It is no secret that Blizzard puts in references to popular movies/pop culture in their games. You just have to know those references.
